I just love pretty flower images, they are so visually inspiring. I could (and have!) spent hours on Pinterest and online just searching and saving pretty inspirational flower images. My phone is full hundreds of flower photos! So, if you are like me, I have hopefully saved you some time and compiled my current top 10 for you. With rustic flowers being so popular with brides at the moment too, for those planning their wedding blooms, here are some great rustic wedding flower ideas to keep in mind.
Rustic Garden Posy Bouquets
Rustic garden posy bouquets, so popular and I can see why. Usually many different flower varieties are used in these designs that give the ‘just-pick-from-the-garden’ look. There is an art to these though, the colour palette and mix of flowers, succulents, pods and textures are important and should be carefully considered by your floral designer. I love this divine soft toned and textured bouquet inspiration below.

Like their bouquet partners, rustic buttonholes are often a little wild and carefree too. With different blooms, textures and colours combined and finished with twine for that rustic touch.
Rustic Table Arrangements
Rustic flower table arrangements are relaxed, free-flowing and filled with mixed seasonal blooms. All kinds of great vessels can be used like tin buckets, jam jars and wooden boxes.
While this example is a little more elegant than mismatched chairs or hay bales in a barn setting, it shows that your wedding can still be an elegant affair but with rustic relaxed floral designs.
Rustic styling can also lead to vintage elements and how cute are these little page boys carrying a wooden sign down an aisle lined with gypsophila for a romantic effect.
So there are nude cakes and simple buttercream cakes with flowers or even cupcakes that can suit the rustic style. But how about this amazing hanging cake and floral chandelier. Insanely gorgeous!
What takes a wedding up just one more notch is thinking of other areas where decoration, in this case florals and ribbons can be incorporated. A bar, dessert table or even the bridal table would all be great places to add this styling and pretty up an otherwise boring space.
Rustic Petal Cones
If the venue allows, throwing rose petals after you say ‘I do’ is a great way to celebrate and looks amazing when captured by your photographer. Petal cones can very easily be styled to suit rustic. Think pretty floral papers, dollies, lace and ribbons and present them in a wicker tray or wooden box.
Rustic Seating Chart
There are so many versions of gorgeous seating charts around these days, but this has to be a favourite. I love the rustic element of the wooden board, the elegant romantic print and the very feminine, pretty florals to complement.
Rustic Chair Embellishments
There are also many ways to embellish chairs at your ceremony or reception, but this one steals my heart (pardon the pun!). A simple floral spray on a moss heart wreath, tied with twine. A divine way to decorate a day that is all about love.
I hope that you are as inspired as I am. Rustic styling is a trend that has made its mark and is here to stay. There are still so many unique and gorgeous ways to celebrate this style, so chat rustic flowers with your wedding floral designer today.
