Jan 2016 update: Well, just like a flower Instagram has since bloomed into something amazing. Still worth checking these great examples of websavvy florists (we’re there too).
I have recently been thinking about how florists could use sensationally popular mobile photo sharing app Instagram.
to generate content for their Facebook pages to engage existing and potential customers.
Innocently, I commented as much on the Tesselaars Facebook page only to receive a slew of comments indicating that I was not the “revolutionary Instagram flowers social media guru” I thought I was!
Turns out plenty of florists are using Instagram to share their wares, their love of flowers and prettiness in general. So I thought we’d showcase some of these florists and show how they are using the app. You might like to “follow” each other, another great way to connect with fellow flower folk!

NOTES: I sought and received permission from the below florists to republish their work. Credits to the florist Instagram profiles are included as links to Statigram.com which is a 3rd party site enabling people to view Instagram photos on desktop computers. (I just noticed you have to log in with your Instagram account to see the photos linked to below, sorry ’bout that.) Also PLEASE credit the original photographer if you repin this stuff to Pinterest, it’s just rude not to.
Enough from me – let the flowers do the talking!
