Flowers To Carry

Jappalin Manning from Flowertalk

Julia-rose says: Beautiful in every way. This beautiful little creation looks simple & sweet due to great technique. I can see there must be a very patient florist behind this piece, who loves wiring (or at least cleaning the stems to detail) all of those fiddly little details that make things look perfect on the other side of the design.

Flowers To Wear

Julia Hails from Ginger Lily & Rose

Julia-rose says: I love this piece. It as though it could sit in the pages of this seasons latest wedding magazine. The delicate asparagus ferns, mixed with Jasmine and geranium and just beautiful. Modern and traditional garden in one. The beautiful little hard edged petals of of the dahlia against the soft belly ruffles of the Roses is exactly what everyone is screaming for this season. The color palette’s, is the “whats hot this spring’ colours of wedding flowers to have. Beautifully made and totally wearable for this seasons bride to be. Gorgeous work.

Jacqueline Griffiths from Two Hearts Club
Julia-rose says: Stunning in every way. Opulent – with the over abundance of fresh florals. Wild – introduced by the magnificent use of greenery and movement. Modern – the grouping and blocking = yummo, and still classic in a sense. I love the simple bouquet and sweet flower crown too. Extraordinary.

Thanks Julia-rose – no doubt you’ve made 3 florists very excited indeed!

Come back tomorrow folks as we reveal our next 3 judge’s selections – tomorrow it’s back to Holly!

  1. Gorgeous bouquet Jappalin, good luck in the voting <3 One thing on Julia-Rose's comments tho… Shouldn't *all* bouquets have the stems carfully stripped and prepared? I kind of wonder with all these 'designers' popping up who are proud to have no formal training, if steps like that are not being followed… They're steps for a reason… I'm not saying no formal training is bad, but when something as basic as stripping stems is a feature, you have to wonder about the expectations of workmanship
    🙁
