This week we have run a quick survey of our Facebook page fans and readers of this our humble flower blog, just to see what the latest trends in wedding flowers have been so far this year. Here’s the first set of answers about wedding flower trends 2014 and they are still rolling in, so let’s roll with it before the Easter Bunny rolls into town shall we?
We asked: What wedding flower trends have you been seeing in 2014 so far? What colour palettes, flowers and styles, etc?
Josie Moss from Sweet Pea Florist
This year we have seen a mix of traditional tight posy shapes; with roses, roses and orchids, and we have also had a lot of brides asking for the “vintage” feel bouquets so it looks like they have just picked them from the garden. A lovely romantic mix of pinks, blues, whites, some peach, some reds, and lots of babies breath!!!

Tracy from Unique Flowers and Fine Art
So far in 2014 I have noticed a return to the natural style cascading bouquet, with many more to do this year.
Peach mixed with cream and pale pink has also been popular and I get allot of requests for blue and white/ivory flowers together.
Berries and textural aspects that add to the bouquet are still very popular making floristry more interesting than ever!
Thanks for sharing Tracy – here’s some of Tracy’s work also!
