Doesn’t every little girl dream of a white wedding, flowers in hand, dashing groom ready to whisk her away to live happily ever after?
OK so maybe not EVERY bride wants this cliche but the sheer volume of white wedding flowers sent in to us by our favourite Australian florists makes it clear that a lot of ladies out there are thinking that as the Billy Idol song goes, “it’s a nice day for a white wedding”.

Actually while working our way through the vast collection of white wedding flowers photos that we have to choose from we were struck by how many other colours come into play when you talk about “white”.
For starters, the whites themselves are very often subtly tinged with pink, apricot or orange to achieve refreshing, cool and pretty shades. And then of course you can work white in with any other colour you choose, so it’s not unusual to see whites next to pink wedding flowers, for example, or red, blue, orange, purple or yellow.
Maybe a few of today’s modern brides are not so keen to be seen with pure white wedding flowers due to the traditional connotations, but we suspect that these old fashioned interpretations of the choice of colour and flowers have mostly been done away with in favour of style, colour and fashion considerations that have very little to do with the morals of yore.
After all, a flower is just a flower, no? Enjoy the white wedding flowers collection!
